OCFoundation

The Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation (OCF), with more than 10,000 members, is an international not-for-profit organization composed of people with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and related disorders, their families, friends, professionals and other concerned individuals. Founded by a group of individuals with OCD in 1986, the mission of the OCF is to educate the public and professional communities about OCD and related disorders; to provide assistance to individuals with OCD and related disorders, their family and friends; and to support research into the causes and effective treatments of OCD and related disorders.

ABCT

The Association for the Advancement of Cognitive and Behavior Therapy (AABT) is a not-for-profit membership organization of over 4,500 mental health professionals and students who are interested in behavior therapy and cognitive behavior therapy in order to gain a better understanding of human behavior, develop, assess, and apply interventions to assist in behavior change, help people deal with personal and social problems and issues, further the empirical study, theory, and practice of these therapies. Founded in 1966, AABT serves as a centralized resource and network for all facets of behavior therapy and cognitive behavior therapy. 

The Association for Contextual Behavioral Science is the home for information about ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and the basic contextual behavioral science approach to language and cognition, Relational Frame Theory (RFT). This mindfulness-based approach to treatment is often referred to as the "third-wave" of cognitive behavioral therapy.

ADAA

The Anxiety Disorders Association of America (ADAA) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the prevention, treatment and cure of anxiety disorders and to improve the lives of all people who suffer from them. Since 1980, by disseminating information, linking people who need treatment with those who can provide it and advocating for cost effective treatments, the ADAA has made it possible for hundreds of thousands of individuals to benefit from its services and publications. The association is made up of professionals who conduct research and treat anxiety disorders and individuals who have a personal or general interest in learning more about such disorders.

CHADD

Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) is a national non-profit organization founded in 1987 to represent individuals with AD/HD, for education, advocacy and support. The organization is composed of dedicated volunteers from around the country who play an integral part in the association's success by providing resources and encouragement to parents, educators and professionals on a grassroots level through CHADD chapters.  

APA

Based in Washington, DC, the American Psychological Association (APA) is a scientific and professional organization that represents psychology in the United States. With 150,000 members, APA is the largest association of psychologists worldwide.

SBM

The Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM) is a multidisciplinary organization of clinicians, educators, and scientists dedicated to promoting the study of the interactions of behavior with biology and the environment, and the application of that knowledge to improve the health and well being of individuals, families, communities and populations.

VirtuallyBetter

Founded in 1996, Virtually Better is known world wide as an innovator in the creation of virtual reality environments for use in the treatment of anxiety disorders such as fear of flying, fear of heights, fear of public speaking as well as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Virtually Better grew from the collaborative research of Barbara O. Rothbaum, Ph.D., Associate Professor in Psychiatry, and Director of Trauma and Anxiety Recovery Program at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and Larry F. Hodges, Ph.D., formerly with the Georgia Institute of Technology, and now Professor and Chair, Department of Computer Science, University of North Carolina at Charlotte. It was this partnership that provided the basis for our sustained focus on Research and Development.
