Keith E. Saylor, Ph.D., Sc.M., the President and CEO of NeuroScience, Inc., received his Ph.D. in Health Psychology from Stanford University and his Master's degree in Public Health from the School of Hygiene and Public Health, Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Saylor is a licensed clinical psychologist who maintains active research and private practices. He is an experienced clinician and researcher with a 20-year history of conducting clinical trial research for new medications for behavioral health. He is either a lead- or co-author on a wide range of publications related to the psychological health of children, adolescents, and adults. He is the principal developer of the Life Participation Scale for ADHD (child and adult versions), which has been used successfully in several large clinical trials to measure improvements in ADHD symptoms not captured by other questionnaires.
Dr. Saylor's clinical practice focuses largely on disorders of attention and anxiety -- particularly Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), specific phobias, social anxiety, panic disorder, and generalized anxiety. A cognitive behavioral therapist, he actively collaborates with each child, adolescent, adult, or family who seeks his services. NeuroScience, Inc. maintains best-practice standards by using the latest evidence-based therapeutic interventions and tools. Dr. Saylor was the first practitioner in the Washington, DC metropolitan region to introduce virtual reality therapy (VR). Along with the developers of VR, Dr. Saylor has been featured in articles in Baltimore Magazine, Rudy Maxa's Fearless Traveler, Washingtonian, the Washington Post, Reader's Digest, Outside Magazine, U.S. News and World Report, American Psychologist, and on NBC4 News with Doreen Gentzler.

Melissa R. Andrews, M.Ed., is Executive Vice President and Director of Research at NeuroScience, Inc. Ms. Andrews successfully initiates and manages all aspects of the clinical trial research process. She trains and manages a staff of clinical trial coordinators and is directly responsible for all regulatory affairs, budgets, communications with sponsors, patient recruitment, and marketing. Ms. Andrews performs clinical ratings and neuropsychological testing for pediatric and adult subjects. She earned her Master's degree in Special Education at the College of William and Mary.

Susan J. Perlmutter, M.D., is Board Certified both in General Psychiatry and in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. A graduate of Weill Medical College of Cornell University, Dr. Perlmutter completed her internship in adult medicine and psychiatry at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, and her residency in Adult Psychiatry and Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. Following medical training, she served as a Senior Staff Fellow in Pediatric and Developmental Neuropsychiatry at the National Institute of Mental Health, Bethesda, MD. Dr. Perlmutter serves as a Study Physician and Subinvestigator and Principal Investigator at NeuroScience, Inc. She has been in private practice since 1996. Dr. Perlmutter has authored or co-authored papers on Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Streptococcal Infections, OCD, substance abuse treatment, and tic disorders.

Shahzad Rahman, MD, is Board-Certified in General Psychiatry. Dr. Rahman completed his medical training at Darbhanga Medical College, India, and Claybury and Christ Church hospitals in the United Kingdom. He served as a Psychiatry Resident at Brown University Hospital, Providence, Rhode Island where he became a Clinical Assistant Professor in Psychiatry. In addition to serving as a principal or sub-investigator for clinical trials at NeuroScience, Inc., he is Clinical Assistant Professor at the George Washington University Medical School, Department of Psychiatry, and is active in private practice.

Judith C. Fallon, M.D., is a graduate of the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She completed her pediatric internship at Ohio State University and pediatric residency at The Children's Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Her career began in private practice, and she then became a member of the faculty and staff at George Washington University. She left academia for the public health sector in Arlington, Virginia, where she also was Director of School Health Services. Dr. Fallon was Medical Director of Community Clinic, Inc., a cluster of 5 community health centers in Maryland.
Since joining NeuroScience, Inc., in 1999, Dr. Fallon has participated in pediatric and adult clinical trials as a Subinvestigator and as a Principal Investigator. She has a special interest in pediatric and adult ADHD as well as continuous quality improvement by systems management. Dr. Fallon volunteers with the Maryland Women, Infants and Children program and is Chair of the State Advisory Council.

Puspamitra Mohanty, B.A., B.S., is a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator and the Manager of Laboratory Services at NeuroScience, Inc. Ms. Mohanty has participated in all aspects of the Clinical Research Coordinator position including regulatory documentation, informed consent, data management and electronic data entry, IVRS dispensing, and much more. She is adept at acquiring blood samples, ECGs, and all other laboratory data from pediatric, adolescent, and adult study subjects. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, MD.

LuAnn Slough, B.A., is a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator at NeuroScience, Inc. Ms. Slough has direct responsibility for performing informed consent, managing daily coordinator activities including scheduling, electronic data capture, meetings with monitors, IVRS dispensing, source and data verification, and quality assurance. Ms. Slough is a graduate of Juniata College, Huntingdon, PA.

Erin Kardel, M.A., is a Research Associate at NeuroScience, Inc. Ms. Kardel administers and scores psychological measurements for medication studies, questionnaire studies, and private practice patients. She is sponsor-certified to administer the SCID, CANTAB, DKEFS, K-SADS-PL, CAARS, AISRS, CCPT, and K-BIT instruments, among many others. Ms. Bokel completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Syracuse University and her Master's degree in General Psychology at American University. She is currently matriculated in a Psy.D. program and sees private clients under Dr. Saylor's supervision. She and Dr. Saylor collaborate on heading support and treatment groups and on treatment planning and implementation, especially for exposure-based treatment for anxiety disorders.
